Building Tomorrow's Legacy Today
Look, we're not your typical stuffy architecture firm. Started back in 2012, ChronoVex Quest came from a simple idea—what if buildings could respect both the past and the future at the same time?
We're based in Vancouver, and honestly, this city's taught us a lot. You've got these incredible heritage structures sitting right next to cutting-edge glass towers, and somehow it all works. That's kinda what we do—blend time periods, mix old wisdom with new tech, and create spaces that'll matter 50 years from now.
Our team's made up of designers, dreamers, and practical problem-solvers who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We've restored century-old buildings, designed zero-emission complexes, and everything in between.
Started in a cramped downtown office with just three of us and a shared dream. Our first project? A small community center that needed way more love than the budget allowed. We made it work though, incorporating reclaimed materials before it was trendy.
Won the contract for the Harrington Building—a 1920s warehouse everyone else said was beyond saving. Spent 18 months bringing it back to life while making it energy efficient. That project put us on the map and taught us that heritage and sustainability aren't opposites.
Launched our living wall and green roof division after experimenting on our own office building. Turns out, people really dig buildings that breathe and support urban ecosystems. We've since installed over 15,000 sq ft of living architecture across the city.
Invested heavily in 3D visualization tech. Game-changer for clients who couldn't picture our ideas from blueprints. Now they can virtually walk through their building before we break ground. Helped us avoid a bunch of "that's not what I imagined" moments.
Started getting called in for larger urban development projects. Turns out city planners liked our approach of not bulldozing everything old to make room for the new. We've helped shape three major neighborhood revitalization projects now.
Picked up the BC Sustainable Architecture Award for our Riverside Commons project. Nice validation that we're on the right track. More importantly though, the community actually loves using the space—that's the real win.
We're now a team of 28 passionate folks working on projects from Victoria to the Interior. Just broke ground on our most ambitious project yet—a net-zero heritage district conversion. The journey continues, and we're just getting warmed up.
Every site has a story. We listen to it before we start drawing lines. Whether it's a historic district or a new development, we design with the neighborhood in mind, not against it.
We're not just slapping solar panels on roofs and calling it green. Our approach looks at materials, longevity, energy use, and how the building fits into its ecosystem. It's gotta last and it's gotta matter.
Buildings are for people, not portfolios. We design spaces that people actually want to be in—comfortable, functional, and yeah, beautiful too. If nobody uses it, we didn't do our job.
Whether you're restoring a heritage gem or planning a new sustainable development, let's talk. We're always up for a good challenge and a strong coffee.
